So the Darwin Ride for life comp is all over and it was a rad day to say the least! The entire Darwin BMX scene was in attendance battling sizzling rays and a akward wind. Rad levels of riding from Beginners to the Pros. Thanks must go out to Jed From Mission Australia for getting the whole thing off the ground and Paul and Mags from Spokes NT for supporting the event-lets hope it becomes a yearly event!

The local crew with a few other ringers from as far as the Sunshine Coast and Katherine!

FBMs own Kie Ashworth was on point and not scared to boost the big bowl even with a gnarly headwind!

Jesse, Kie and Will all gave the locals some one on one tech on the finer points of barspins and tyre taps they were siked to be learning from some of the best in the biz.

Local shredder squared up and killing it all day long!

We will be packing up some of the team and heading up to Darwin soon for the Ride to Life event that Jed from Mission Australia is putting on up there in July , Kie Ashworth , Jesse Bull and some of the other guys will be packing up and taking the slow rode up through Alice Springs and then onto Darwin, cant wait for this one its gonna be wild. expect photos of roadkill, roadtrains and other assorted oddities from the road to appear here.Who knows maybe a edit of the journey as well?

Congrats are also in order for Marnold for his win in the open division of the recent Ringwood South Eastern League Comp that has the backing of Strictly BMX whom unless you lived under a rock you surely would have heard of by now.
